The ship queue and shipment tracking
Work through paid orders in one pass, add tracking without picking a carrier, and follow every parcel to delivery — including the ones that go wrong.
The ship queue is a panel at the top of the Orders page listing every order that's been paid for and not yet shipped, oldest first. It exists so packing day is one pass down a list rather than a hunt through order history.
Working the queue
Each waiting order shows how long it's had, as Ship by {day} or, once it's late, Overdue — ship today. That clock matters on eBay, where handling time feeds your seller metrics.
For each order you can enter a tracking number inline, without opening it. When you've printed a batch of labels, Mark all shipped clears them together.
Tracking, without picking a carrier
Paste a tracking number and PalmFlow works out the carrier from its format — USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Royal Mail and others all have recognizable number shapes. There's no dropdown to get wrong.
From there the parcel is followed automatically:
- Checkpoints update as the carrier scans it.
- Delivered closes the loop, and can notify you.
- Exceptions — stuck, lost, returned to sender, failed delivery — are flagged rather than left to be discovered by an angry message.
That last one is the real value. A parcel that stops moving on day three is a problem you can still fix; the same parcel discovered on day twelve is a case.
Two shipping numbers, not one
An order carries what the buyer paid you for shipping and what you actually paid to ship it. These are different numbers and PalmFlow keeps them apart: buyer-paid shipping is revenue, your label is a cost, and profit is what's left after both.
Plenty of tools collapse these into one figure, which quietly overstates margin on anything where you underpriced postage. If you forgot a postage cost or typed it wrong, open the order and edit the item line — profit updates immediately.
Common questions
Does PalmFlow track shipments after an order ships?
Yes. Paste a tracking number and PalmFlow detects the carrier automatically, then follows the parcel to delivery, flagging anything stuck, lost, or returned.
Is buyer-paid shipping counted as revenue in PalmFlow?
Buyer-paid shipping and the postage you actually paid are recorded as two separate figures. Only what the buyer paid counts toward revenue; your label cost is a cost, so profit reflects the difference rather than hiding it.
