    Setting revenue and profit goals

Set weekly, monthly, or quarterly targets for revenue, profit, orders, or items sold, and let PalmFlow track the pace you'd need to hit them.

A goal is a target you set for one metric over one timeframe, which PalmFlow then tracks against your actual sales without you updating anything.

Goals are part of the paid plans.

    What you can target

Four metrics — revenue, profit, orders, and items sold — across three timeframes: weekly, monthly, or quarterly.

Profit is the one worth choosing. Revenue goals reward discounting: you can hit a revenue target by selling good stock cheaply and end the month worse off. A profit target can't be gamed that way.

    Pace

The useful part isn't the progress bar, it's the pace: what you'd need per day from here to land on target. Two weeks into a month, "58% of the way there" is ambiguous, while "$94/day for the next 13 days" is either obviously fine or obviously not.

    Suggested targets

Rather than making you guess, PalmFlow can suggest a target computed from what you've actually been doing — recent months' real figures rather than a round number. Start there and adjust.

    Looking back

Finished goals are kept, with a running tally of how many you've hit this year. That record is more honest than memory: a season that felt bad often wasn't, and the reverse.

    Common questions

Can I set sales targets in PalmFlow?

Yes. Goals cover revenue, profit, orders, or items sold, over a week, month, or quarter, and PalmFlow tracks progress against them automatically from your real sales.
