Connect your Shopify store

How PalmFlow's Shopify integration works — importing products into inventory, pulling orders in automatically, and what it does and doesn't sync back.

Shopify is one of PalmFlow's two live marketplace integrations, alongside eBay. Connecting a store imports its products into your inventory and brings new orders in on their own, so a Shopify sale lands with its revenue and cost basis already attached.

The connection is read-only. PalmFlow requests only read permissions from Shopify — products, orders, inventory, locations, and fulfillments — and never writes back. Editing an item in PalmFlow will not change the product in your Shopify admin.

Connecting a store

1Open Settings → Integrations.
2Choose Shopify and enter your store's myshopify.com domain.
3Approve the permissions on Shopify's own screen. You'll land back in PalmFlow with the store connected.
4The first sync runs immediately. Large catalogs finish in the background — you can leave the page.

Only owners and admins can connect or disconnect an integration.

What comes across

Products become items, with their titles, variants, SKUs, and prices.
Orders arrive automatically as they're placed, with what the buyer paid.
Fulfillments mark an order shipped when you fulfill it in Shopify.
Locations map to PalmFlow locations, so multi-location stock stays separate.

Shopify orders behave like any other sale once they arrive: they count toward revenue, draw down inventory, and carry through to your profit reporting.

Marketplace slots

A Shopify store occupies one marketplace connection. The Free plan includes one connection, Pro includes three, and Ultra is unlimited — so on Free you can run either eBay or Shopify, and Pro is the tier where both live side by side. See Plans and billing.

Keeping it in sync

New orders arrive by webhook, usually within seconds of the sale. A scheduled sweep runs behind that, so nothing is lost if Shopify has a bad moment or a webhook is missed. You can also force a sync from Settings → Integrations.

If a store stops syncing, the usual cause is a revoked or expired app authorization — disconnect and reconnect to reissue it.

Shopify and eBay are the two marketplaces PalmFlow syncs today. Sales from anywhere else can be recorded by hand or brought in with the sales importer; see Importing your existing records.
