Exporting and owning your data

Your PalmFlow data is yours. Export inventory, sales, cost basis, and P&L to CSV any time, and delete your account whenever you want — no lock-in.

Everything you put into PalmFlow can be taken back out. There are two routes: a full-account export, which bundles your whole account as data and is available to every plan including Free, and CSV exports of inventory, orders, and expenses, which are part of the paid plans. There is no lock-in either way.

Exporting to CSV

You can export your data — items, sales, cost basis, and profit-and-loss — to CSV at any time. Use it for your own records, to hand to an accountant, or to move elsewhere. Nothing is trapped in a proprietary format.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in an encrypted Postgres database on dedicated infrastructure, with HTTPS everywhere. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with third parties.

For marketplace connections, PalmFlow requests minimum-necessary access — listings, orders, and inventory state — not your buyer messages or personal buyer data beyond what an order needs. See Connect your eBay account.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account whenever you choose. If you'd rather just stop paying, canceling drops you to the free plan and keeps read access to your data until you export it — see Plans and billing.

If PalmFlow ever shut down

You'd get at least 90 days' notice and a final export window. Your data would never be stranded.

Your data rights

The full-account export is a subject access export under Articles 15 and 20 of the UK and EU GDPR — the right to a copy of your personal data, and the right to receive it in a portable, machine-readable form. You don't have to invoke anything or email anyone to use it; it's a button, and it's on every plan including Free. Credentials and access tokens are redacted from the file.

Deleting your account requires a confirmation code sent to your email address, so no one who reaches an unlocked screen can destroy your records on your behalf.

If you've connected eBay, note that eBay also requires us to honor account deletion requests it forwards on a seller's behalf, which we do automatically.
