Bulk edits, cloning, and custom fields

Change hundreds of items at once, clone near-identical listings, and add the fields your niche needs — sizes, grades, consignors, whatever you track.

Once you're past a few hundred items, editing one at a time stops being viable. Three features exist for working at that scale: bulk actions, cloning, and custom attributes.

    Bulk actions

Select items from the inventory list — a filter, a search, or the whole page — and apply one change to all of them:

    • Mark listed, for a batch you've just put up.
    • Reprice, for a seasonal markdown across a category.
    • Move, when a shelf gets reorganized.
    • Sell as one order, when a buyer takes several things together, so it records as one sale with several lines rather than several unrelated sales.
    • Delete.

Bulk actions can be undone, which is what makes them usable — a reprice across 300 items is otherwise a decision you'd want to sleep on.

    Cloning

Clone creates a near-identical item without re-entering everything the two share. Buy six of the same jacket in different sizes, or twelve cards from one break, and you enter the shared details once. Cloning is part of the paid plans.

    Custom attributes

The built-in fields cover what every reseller needs. Custom attributes cover what *your* niche needs — garment size, card grade, console region, consignor, authentication number.

Five types: text, number, date, yes/no, and dropdown. Use dropdown wherever the answer comes from a fixed set; free text you have to remember to spell consistently is a filter you can't rely on later.

Set them up under Workspace settings. Pro includes five custom attributes; Ultra is unlimited.

    Tags

Tags are the lighter option, and they're on every plan. No setup, no schema — add a tag to an item and filter the inventory toolbar by it. Good for temporary groupings ("estate sale 4/12", "needs photos") where a permanent field would be overkill. Tags export with your CSV.

    Common questions

Can I edit many inventory items at once in PalmFlow?

Yes. Select any number of items and apply a change to all of them — mark listed, reprice, move to a location, sell as one order, or delete. Bulk actions can be undone.

Can I add my own fields to inventory items?

Yes. Custom attributes let you add fields specific to your niche, as text, number, date, yes/no, or dropdown. Pro includes five; Ultra is unlimited.

Everything here is free to try.
