Connect your Discogs account

Discogs is one of PalmFlow's three live marketplace integrations, alongside eBay and Shopify. Connecting your account brings every record you have for sale into inventory, and brings each sale in behind it — with the buyer, the postage and the fee Discogs took already attached.

The connection is read-only. PalmFlow reads your listings, your orders and the public release catalog. It never lists a record, never edits one, and never takes one down.

Connecting your account

1. 1Open Settings → Integrations.
2. 2Choose Discogs, then Connect Discogs.
3. 3Approve the connection on Discogs' own screen. You land back in PalmFlow with your seller username on the card.
4. 4Press Sync now to import straight away, or leave it — the scheduled sweep picks it up on its own.

Only owners and admins can connect or disconnect an integration.

You do not need a connected account to use the release catalog. That works for anyone signed in to PalmFlow, whether they sell on Discogs or not.

What comes across

• Your listings become items: the artist and title, the price in the currency you listed it in, the media condition, your listing comments, the record label, the catalog number, the format, and the sleeve image as the item's photo.
• Your sales arrive on their own once a record sells, each carrying the buyer, the shipping address, the postage, and Discogs' commission on the sale.
• Records you take down drop back to In Stock rather than vanishing. The copy is still on your shelf, it just isn't for sale.

Your listings import in full, however old they are. The first import of your sales reaches back 90 days; everything after that arrives as it happens.

What PalmFlow will not do

Worth stating plainly, because it is the opposite of how the eBay integration behaves:

• It will not put a record up for sale on Discogs.
• It will not edit a live listing. Change a price in PalmFlow and your Discogs listing keeps the price it had — make that change on Discogs.
• It will not end or remove a listing, ever.

Marketplace slots

A Discogs account occupies one marketplace connection. Free includes one, Pro includes three, and Ultra is unlimited — see Plans and billing.

If your shop is larger than your plan's item allowance, the import fills the allowance and stops rather than failing. The rest arrive once you have room for them.

Keeping it up to date

The scheduled sweep picks up new listings, price changes, records you've taken down, and every order that has moved since it last looked. Sync now on the Discogs card runs it immediately.

Orders are always fetched before listings. The two can disagree about one record — a canceled order says the copy is unsold, while your actual Discogs inventory knows whether it went back up for sale — and the listing sync is the one that should win.

If something looks wrong

• "Needs reconnection" means Discogs access was revoked. Press Reconnect Discogs and approve it again; nothing is lost.
• A record didn't come across. Sold listings are skipped on purpose — they arrive as orders instead, with the money attached.
• The import stopped early. A very large shop imports in stages. Run Sync now again and it continues from where it stopped.
• Every item's timeline records what the sync did and when, which beats guessing.

Disconnecting

Settings → Integrations → Discogs → Disconnect. Your items, your sales and your history stay exactly as they are — disconnecting stops the sync, it doesn't undo it. Your Discogs account is untouched.

Does PalmFlow sync with Discogs?

Yes. PalmFlow imports your Discogs listings as inventory items and pulls your Discogs orders in automatically, each one carrying the buyer, the postage and the 9% fee Discogs charged. The connection is read-only — PalmFlow never lists, edits or removes anything on Discogs.

Does connecting Discogs use up a marketplace slot?

Yes. A Discogs account counts as one marketplace connection. The Free plan allows 1, Pro allows 3, and Ultra is unlimited.

How far back do Discogs sales import?
