Getting started with PalmFlow

A five-minute tour of PalmFlow: what it does, how the dashboard is laid out, and the first three things to do after you sign in.

PalmFlow is one place to run a reselling business: physical inventory, eBay listings and orders, profit and cost basis, barcode scanning, and your team — in a single dashboard instead of a crosslister plus a bookkeeping tool plus a spreadsheet.

This guide gets you from a fresh account to a working setup. It takes about five minutes.

What PalmFlow is for

PalmFlow tracks every item you own as a real unit of inventory — what you paid, where it is, what status it's in, and what it eventually sold for. When you connect eBay, your listings, orders, fees, and inventory state sync both ways automatically, so the numbers stay honest without copy-paste.

If you only sell on one channel today, that's fine. If you log sales from other marketplaces by hand, PalmFlow still tracks the profit. The goal is one accurate picture of your operation.

The dashboard at a glance

  • Inventory — every item you own, filterable by status, location, and value. This is where you'll spend most of your time.
  • Orders — sales pulled from eBay, plus anything you log manually.
  • Reports — profit, cost of goods, fees, and trends over time.
  • Phoenix — the built-in AI assistant. Ask it questions about your own data.
  • Settings — workspace, integrations, team, and billing.

Your first three steps

  1. 1Connect eBay. This is the single highest-value setup step — it pulls your live listings and orders in automatically. See Connect your eBay account.
  2. 2Bring your inventory in. Import a CSV from your current tool or a spreadsheet, or add items one at a time. See Import existing inventory and Adding and editing items.
  3. 3Record your cost basis. Enter what you paid for each item so your profit numbers are real from day one. See Profit and cost basis.

That's the whole foundation. Everything else — locations, scanning, SLA tracking, teams — builds on top of accurate items and a connected marketplace.

New here? Most people start by connecting eBay, then importing inventory, then spot-checking that the cost basis looks right. Do those three and the rest of PalmFlow has something to work with.

PalmFlow is inventory, eBay sync, and bookkeeping for resellers — in one place.
