PalmFlow vs Flipwise
An honest side-by-side from the team building PalmFlow. Flipwise has the deeper eBay integration of the two and we'll show you exactly where — but it prices you on how much you sell, and it stops at eBay.
The bottom lineIf eBay is your only channel forever, Flipwise's integration is deeper than ours and that's a real reason to pick it. Two things to weigh first. Their plan size counts what you sold in the last 30 days as well as what's listed, so a strong month moves you up a bracket — PalmFlow counts active items only and sold items never count. And Flipwise starts at the listing, so nothing tracks an item between buying it and posting it. Same $19.99 either way.
| Feature | Flipwise | PalmFlow |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan | Up to 24 listings, new members only | $0/mo forever · 50 active items, no card |
| What $19.99 buys | 100–499 listings. Grow past that and the price steps up | Pro — 500 active items, and the price doesn't move |
| What counts toward your tier | Active listings plus everything you sold in the last 30 days — a good month raises your bill | Active items only. Sold items never count, however many you shift |
| Pricing model | Metered by store size — the bill climbs as you grow, up to enterprise | Flat. $19.99 Pro, $39.99 Ultra, and Ultra is unlimited |
| eBay integration depth | The deepest on the market for eBay alone — real-time sync, and end-and-relist that preserves listing history | Full eBay API — listings, orders, fees, inventory, and outbound title, price and photo edits |
| Marketplaces beyond eBay | None natively — Mercari, Poshmark, Vinted, Etsy and Depop are manual entry or CSV | Shopify and Discogs sync alongside eBay; anything else is CSV |
| Crosslisting — one listing to many marketplaces | No | No — neither tool does this |
| Cost basis and P&L | Yes — Schedule C vocabulary, genuinely tax-tuned | Yes — per-item cost basis, full P&L, tax reports |
| Tracks an item before it's listed | No — sell-through and age on listings you already have | Yes — bin locations, cost, photos, per-item timeline from the day you buy it |
| Warehouse-grade inventory ops | No | Barcode scanning, SKU labels, per-status SLA, check-out/check-in, audit log (Ultra) |
| More than one person | No — single user | 2 users on Pro; roles, permissions and teams on Ultra |
| On your phone | Reviewers flag cramped mobile screens | Web app on any device, installable to your home screen |
Choose Flipwise if…
- eBay is your only channel and you're never adding another. Flipwise's eBay integration is deeper than ours on that one channel — end-and-relist that preserves listing history is a real advantage we don't match.
- You want bookkeeping that talks in Schedule C and sell-through without making you learn accounting. Flipwise is purpose-built for that and it's good at it.
- You list fewer than 24 things. Their free tier covers you permanently and ours would too — at that size, pick on feel.
- You're comfortable with a bill that moves. Worth being clear what moves it: store size counts what you sold in the last 30 days as well as what's listed, so your best month is also your most expensive one.
Choose PalmFlow if…
- You don't want selling more to cost more. Flipwise sizes your plan on active listings plus the last 30 days of sales. PalmFlow counts active items only — 4,000 lifetime sales and 300 things listed is 300 against your limit.
- You want to know what you own before it's listed. Flipwise starts at the listing; PalmFlow starts at the purchase — cost, bin, photos, how long it's been sitting.
- You sell somewhere other than eBay. Flipwise is eBay-native and everything else is manual entry or a CSV. PalmFlow syncs Shopify and Discogs too.
- You want a flat bill. Ultra is $39.99 whether you hold 500 items or 50,000.
- You run real inventory — bin locations, per-status SLA, barcode scanning, an audit trail. Flipwise reports on listings; it doesn't run a stockroom.
- You're not doing this alone. Flipwise is single-user at every tier; PalmFlow has 2 users on Pro and roles, permissions and per-item check-out on Ultra.
