    Migrating fromVendoo to PalmFlow

A guide on how to quickly switch from Vendoo to PalmFlow.

    Introduction

If you're considering moving from Vendoo to PalmFlow, you're in the right place. Vendoo has the best export story of any crosslisting tool — its CSV carries your costs, fees, and sold history — so this is one of the cleanest migrations you can do. This guide maps Vendoo's concepts onto PalmFlow's and walks through moving your data step by step.

    Jump ahead

    Background

    • Vendoo was founded in 2017 in Washington, DC, and went through Y Combinator in 2022. It's a crosslisting app — its core job is posting one item to 10+ marketplaces through a Chrome extension, with eBay connected through eBay's official API.
    • PalmFlow launched in 2026. It's a reseller operations platform — inventory, orders, cost basis, and P&L built around server-side eBay and Shopify sync. It doesn't crosslist; it runs the business behind the listings.
    • The practical difference: Vendoo's sale detection scans your marketplaces about every 10 minutes while your computer and browser are running. PalmFlow's eBay and Shopify sync runs on PalmFlow's servers, so orders land whether your machine is on or not.

    Concepts

The two tools organize the same business differently. Here's how Vendoo's concepts map onto PalmFlow's.

    ConceptVendooPalmFlow
InventoryItems move Draft → Listed → Sold, each tracking its per-marketplace listing status.Items move In stock → Listed → Sold. Everything post-sale — shipping, delivery, returns — lives on the order, not the item.
SalesSale detection scans connected marketplaces every ~10 minutes while your browser is open, then marks the item sold.eBay and Shopify orders sync server-side with fees attached — no browser required. Sales on other marketplaces are logged with the Sell flow.
Costs & profitA cost-of-goods field per item, with a profit calculator on sold items.Per-item cost basis feeding a full P&L, plus an expenses ledger, goals, and tax reports.
ConnectionseBay by API; most other marketplaces through the Chrome extension riding your logged-in sessions.eBay and Shopify by API, server-side. No extension anywhere.
CrosslistingThe core feature — list one item to 10+ marketplaces. Not a PalmFlow feature today. PalmFlow syncs eBay and Shopify instead of crossposting.

    Moving your data

The whole move takes about fifteen minutes for a typical closet. Vendoo's CSV export is available on every plan, including Free.

    1. 1

      Export your inventory from Vendoo

In Vendoo, open your Inventory and use the blue multi-action button in the top right (or Settings → CSV export) to download your inventory spreadsheet. Export all inventory rather than a date range, and keep the cost, fees, and sold columns — that's the data eBay doesn't know about.

    2. 2

      Connect eBay to PalmFlow

In PalmFlow, go to Settings → Integrations → eBay and connect your account. Your active listings import automatically with titles, prices, and quantities, and new orders start syncing server-side from that point on. If you run a Shopify store, connect it the same way.

    3. 3

      Import the Vendoo CSV

In Inventory, click Import CSV and choose the file. PalmFlow detects Vendoo's columns automatically — name, SKU, cost of goods, prices, fees, and status — with no column mapping step. Sold rows become real orders with sale price, fees, and date, so your history carries into the P&L. Rows whose SKU already exists (say, from the eBay import) are skipped, so consistent SKUs prevent duplicates; if you didn't use SKUs, trim the CSV to the items eBay didn't already bring in. One note: CSV import is part of the Pro plan.

    4. 4

      Check the numbers

Open Reports and compare the totals against Vendoo's sales report. If anything looks off, the entire import can be undone in one click from the result screen — fix the sheet and run it again.

PalmFlow doesn't crosslist. If posting to many marketplaces is the core of your workflow, see the conclusion below before you switch.

    Pricing

Vendoo overhauled its pricing recently — older reviews still describe item-metered tiers and paid add-ons, but the current model is simpler. This table reflects both pricing pages as of July 2026.

     VendooPalmFlow
    Free plan$0 — 5 new items/mo$0 — 50 items, no card required
    Entry paid tierStarter — $14.99/moPro — $19.99/mo, 500 items
    Middle tierGrowth — $29.99/mo
Top tierPro — $59.99/moUltra — $39.99/mo, unlimited items (Enterprise sits above, for multi-store teams)
Free trial14 days, card requiredFree plan is free forever

Both tools discount annual billing — Vendoo by up to two months, PalmFlow to $15.99 (Pro) and $31.99 (Ultra).

PalmFlow's CSV import & export, cost basis, and advanced reports are included in Pro. Teams, barcode scanning, and tax reports are Ultra.

    Conclusion

Vendoo's export quality makes this switch unusually painless: one CSV carries your costs, fees, and sold history, and eBay fills in the live listings. Start free, import, and see your real P&L the same afternoon.

An honest caveat: if crossposting to Poshmark, Mercari, and Depop is the center of your workflow, keep Vendoo — PalmFlow doesn't crosslist today. The sellers who gain from switching are eBay-first (or eBay + Shopify) and want server-side sync, real inventory, and bookkeeping in one place.
