    Migrating fromResellbot to PalmFlow

A guide on how to quickly switch from Resellbot to PalmFlow.

    Introduction

If you're looking at Resellbot — the tool that used to be Closet Tools — and PalmFlow, start with the honest framing: these aren't the same kind of product. Resellbot automates Poshmark engagement. PalmFlow runs inventory, eBay and Shopify sync, and the books, and it has no Poshmark automation at all. So this guide is written for the seller consolidating their records and their non-Poshmark selling into one place — and it's just as likely to end with you running both.

    Jump ahead

    Background

    • Closet Tools rebranded to Resellbot and moved from a browser extension to cloud execution, so its Poshmark sharing, follows, and offers run 24/7 without your computer on. Its subscription covers the first three closets, with additional closets billed on top.
    • It is Poshmark-only by design. There's no crosslisting to other marketplaces, and its financial side is a revenue view rather than reseller bookkeeping.
    • PalmFlow launched in 2026. It's a reseller operations platform — inventory, orders, cost basis, and P&L on server-side eBay and Shopify sync. It doesn't automate Poshmark, and it isn't going to.

    Concepts

The overlap here is narrow, so the mapping is mostly a list of what each tool doesn't do.

    Before you start

The most useful preparation here is a decision, not a download.

    • Decide whether you're switching or adding. If Poshmark sharing automation is what you pay Resellbot for, PalmFlow doesn't replace it — this becomes a 'run both' setup.
    • Poshmark app access, for the sales report in step 2.
    • Your eBay account credentials, if you sell there as well. That's where PalmFlow's automatic side comes from.
    • Your cost basis, from wherever you keep it. Neither Poshmark nor Resellbot holds cost of goods.
    • A PalmFlow account. The CSV importers are part of Pro.

    Moving your data

Poshmark has no public API, so nothing syncs it automatically — not Resellbot, not PalmFlow, not anyone. What Poshmark does give you is a proper sales report, and that imports cleanly.

    1. 1

      Connect eBay to PalmFlow

If you sell on eBay at all, start here — it's the part that runs itself afterward. Skip to step 2 if you're Poshmark-only.

      1. In PalmFlow, open Settings → Integrations.
      2. Find eBay and click Connect, then authorize on eBay's own sign-in page.
      3. Choose the eBay marketplace you actually sell on.
      4. Let the first sync finish — active listings arrive as items with titles, prices, and quantities, and orders start syncing with fees attached.
      5. Connect Shopify the same way if you run a store.
    2. 2

      Download your Poshmark sales report

This comes from Poshmark itself, not from Resellbot — which is good news, because it means your history isn't tied to a subscription you might cancel.

      1. In the Poshmark app, tap your Profile at the bottom right.
      2. Scroll down to My seller tools and open My sales report.
      3. Choose Last full year, Year to date, or a custom range.
      4. Poshmark emails a download link for the CSV to the address on your account.

Take more history than you think you need. Pulling a second report later is easy, but reconciling two half-imports isn't.

    3. 3

      Export your Resellbot reports too

Resellbot's own reports cover the automation side — what shared, what sold, how the closet grew. That's context PalmFlow won't reproduce, and it's worth keeping.

      1. In Resellbot, export the reports you use to track growth.
      2. Keep them as records rather than as an import — they describe engagement, not transactions.
      3. If you manage several closets, export each one separately so the numbers stay attributable.
    4. 4

      Import your history into PalmFlow

Sales become real orders with price, platform, and date, so your Poshmark revenue lands in the same P&L as everything else.

      1. Go to Orders → Import CSV and choose the Poshmark sales report.
      2. Add a column headed platform with Poshmark in it if the file doesn't already name the marketplace.
      3. Read the preview, check the sample rows, then confirm.
      4. Import supplies, shipping materials, and subscriptions from Expenses → Import CSV.

Your Resellbot subscription is a business expense. It belongs in the expenses ledger, and it's a fair thing to look at against what it earns you once your P&L is real.

    5. 5

      Set up the ongoing rhythm

Poshmark won't sync, so decide now how those sales get recorded — one habit beats a quarterly catch-up.

      1. Log Poshmark sales as they happen with PalmFlow's Sell flow, which records the sale price, fees, and the item it came from.
      2. Or pull a Poshmark sales report monthly and import it from Orders → Import CSV.
      3. Add cost basis to items as you source, so profit is real without a reconciliation later.

PalmFlow has no Poshmark automation of any kind. If that's what you're paying Resellbot for, this is an addition rather than a replacement.

    Troubleshooting

The questions that actually come up partway through a move from Resellbot.

Does PalmFlow have a Poshmark sharing bot?

No, and there isn't one planned. Poshmark's terms don't permit automated access, and PalmFlow doesn't work that way. If sharing automation is what you need, keep Resellbot.

Can PalmFlow sync my Poshmark sales automatically?

No — Poshmark has no public API, so no third-party tool syncs it directly. Poshmark's own sales report is the route, and PalmFlow imports it cleanly. Day to day, the Sell flow logs a Poshmark sale in a few seconds.

So why would a Poshmark seller use PalmFlow at all?

For the parts Resellbot doesn't do: what you paid for each item, what you actually made after fees and shipping, where the stock physically is, and a P&L your accountant can use. Sellers who only ever touch Poshmark and don't want bookkeeping genuinely don't need us.

I run several closets. Does that map to anything?

Not directly — PalmFlow doesn't model closets. If the closets are one business, import them into one workspace and let the platform column keep them distinguishable. If they're separate businesses, they want separate workspaces.

    Pricing

These price differently because they do different jobs — one is engagement automation, the other is an operations platform. Prices as of July 2026.

What it buysPoshmark sharing, offers, follows, and growth reportseBay + Shopify sync, inventory, cost basis + P&L, tax reports

These aren't substitutes, so the honest comparison is Resellbot versus Resellbot plus PalmFlow — not one against the other.

    Conclusion

This is the one guide here that often ends with 'keep both', and that's a real answer. Your Poshmark history moves across in one report from Poshmark itself, eBay connects and runs on its own, and you end up with the cost basis and profit picture that a sharing bot was never meant to give you.

An honest caveat, and it's the whole point of this page: if Poshmark automation is what you're buying, keep Resellbot. PalmFlow doesn't share, doesn't offer, doesn't follow, and won't. Where PalmFlow earns its place is underneath — what you paid, what you made, and where the stock is. Many Poshmark-heavy sellers run exactly that pairing.
