Opening an item, or an order, rebuilt
The two pages you land on when you click into something — one of your items, or one of your sales — have been rebuilt to match each other and the lists they open from. Both now open the same way: what it is, then the four things you came to check, then everything else.
- An item leads with its status, where it is, how long it's been on the shelf and what condition it's in, then what it cost and what it's worth. You get the answer before you get a single control.
- An order leads with its status, the buyer, what's in it and the tracking number, then walks from paid to shipped to delivered, then shows what you actually kept.
- If an item is listed in more than one place, the page now says so — every channel it's live on, whether the listing is still up, and which direction changes travel on each one. It only ever mentioned eBay before, however many places the item was really listed.
- Adding photos to an item no longer means opening it for editing first. An item without any asks for them, and takes them on the spot.
- Editing an item keeps everything where it was: the fields sit exactly where the facts they replace were sitting, with the photos still beside the price, so changing a number doesn't mean losing your place.
- Both pages work properly on a phone now, down to the narrowest screen — the two columns become one, in the order you'd read them.
