Fees are filled in for every platform you sell on
Recording a sale on Mercari, Poshmark, Depop or Etsy left the fees box empty, so unless you typed a figure in yourself the sale was saved as though the platform took nothing at all. Those sales read as more profitable than they really were — it's worth going back through your non-eBay sales and setting the fees on them.
- Each of those platforms now fills in its own fee the moment you pick it: Mercari's 10%, Poshmark's $2.95 under $15 and 20% above it, Etsy's and Depop's percentages plus their fixed charges. It's a starting figure — change it whenever the platform charged you something different.
- The eBay estimate shifted a little as well, and now agrees with the fee calculator on our site, which it used to contradict.
- Shopify, Amazon and anything you log as Manual still ask you for the fee. There's no single published rate for those that we'd be comfortable filling in on your behalf.
